I feel the same way about the photography industry as I do when I walk into my daughter's bedroom: the place is a mess; stuff is scattered on the floor; her laundry basket is overflowing and there she stands in the middle of it, trying to convince me nothing is wrong. Hey, I love her with all my heart, but I still want it cleaned up. Our wonderful industry is a lot like that messy room, with a lot of photographers either unaware of the mess or happily adding to it, and what’s worse, teaching others to do the same.
